Custom Woodwork Design

I have always been drawn to artistic expressions, from sketching and painting to furniture design. It was a hobby I played with for years until the pandemic hit and we all found ourselves stuck at home. I came across a lathe left to me by my Uncle Art along with a small shop worth of other tools. It started with a hunk of firewood and before I knew it I was making and selling Christmas ornaments. I still make them but also cutting boards, pens, mugs, bowls and I looking to branch out into tables bars and other furniture. 

I design each piece to showcase the natural beauty of the woods I work with. If looking through the gallery and online store you don't see what you are looking for you can contact me. When I create a piece for a client, I start with a consultation to find out what you're looking for. Then, I will send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design you love. Then, I get to building! 

I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come.  If you ever encounter a design flaw or craftsmanship issue, I will fix or replace the piece. I'm also always available to help you you maintain the look of your wood.  Steven@papabearstudioswv.com
